Damping factor
The damping factor was measured by measuring the output voltage variation, while modifying a pure resistive load. By repeating the measurement at different frequencies we got the results presented below. The output coil is 2.5uH air core.
These results are not in particular impressive. However, they beat by a relative large margin the specification of a famous (and very expensive) commercial HEC based amp.
